Margot Robbie's secret to staying in shape as she prepares for her role in Barbie
Margot Robbie’s figure is definitely very much talked about and she finally reveals what she has to do to keep in shape as she gets ready to play Barbie. The 30 year old spoke to Women’s Health UK this week and revealed that the secret to remaining lean is little carbs and no sweets on the menu. Hmm…no sweets is tough we have to say! 'Breakfast is usually porridge, and during the morning I'll have an immunity-boosting smoothie,' said the beautiful ‘Once Upon a time’ actress. 'I'll normally have a chicken salad for lunch, and for dinner I'll tuck into a tuna steak with sweet potato.' She went on to add. But that is not all, she is also ‘obsessed’ with drinking tea she revealed. She says she became a tea fanatic after moving to London from Australia. It is true, the Brits do love their tea, ‘Throughout the day, I'll sip on tea – I've been obsessed with it ever since I lived in the UK,” she said. However worry not, she is human and loves burgers and Mexican food too, who doesn’t! After moving to US she became a fan of beef burgers and beer. Perhaps that’s an American influence. However while in London she was more obsessed with Mexican. Her favourite burger is double truffle burger from the American chain Umami Burger: 'It comes with a truffle cheese fondue, truffle aioli and truffle glaze,' she said. 'But back when I called London home, I loved the Mexican restaurant and bar La Bodega Negra in Soho. Everything I ate there was amazing - and they whip up the best margarita I've ever had an ywhere.' She also talked about exercise and that she enjoys working out and is into Pilates and likes to do dance classes or playing tennis with friends but she isn’t much of a fan of lifting weights despite taking up boxing when she was practicing for Suicide Squad. 'I found boxing sessions and fighting practice for Suicide Squad really fun, but quickly realized I wasn't so much a fan of lifting weights. When I’m not preparing for a role, I prefer to do workouts I really like, such as dance classes or playing tennis with friends.' Ahh…so those burgers make sense now. No wonder she can eat them and still look great. So there you have it, Margot Robbie’s secret to staying beautiful, little carbs, no sugar and working out.
