Fans Read Harry Styles' Lips, Figure Out What He Says to Taylor Swift
Grammy Awards 2021 were full of suspense and it wasn’t just who will win the awards that kept people on the edge of their seats. It would seem Harry Styles’ words to Taylor Swift is what left many intrigued. A video went viral on the weekend showing the former couple who dated back in 2012 talking to each other in the backstage area at one point during a commercial break. Fans were curious to know what they were talking about with many speculating about the conversation on Twitter. Many were pleased to see the interaction; Harry Styles and Taylor Swift who have been dubbed “Haylor” dated briefly between late 2012 and early 2013 and were regularly spotted on outings in NYC. Many believe Harry was the inspiration behind at least two tracks on Swift’s 2014 album, 1989. One was called “Style” and another was called “Out of the Woods”. Swift once made reference to Out of the Woods saying that it was inspired by a real-life relationship in which “every day was a struggle”. Very interesting. In 2017, Harry Styles said he didn’t know if the songs “Styles” and “Out of the Woods” were about him but did go on to say; “I’m lucky if everything [we went through] helped create those songs. That’s what hits your heart.” He later went on to say that it was flattering to possibly be the subject of Taylor’s songs. “I think about what it means to me to write a song about somebody else and for somebody else to do that, it’s like flattering,” he told Howard Stern a few years later. “Even if the song isn’t that flattering, you still spent time on it and ultimately, using Taylor as an example, she’s a great songwriter. So at least they’re good songs.” At the 2021 Grammy Award, Swift won three Album of the Year awards, being the first female to do so. In the past only men have achieved this. Styles won Best Pop Solo Performance for “Watermelon Sugar”. Some fan have been keen to see a collab between the two. While it is not known what the conversation was about it was clearly amicable and good to see the two becoming friend again. Tell us what you think.
