People Magazine has finally confirmed what we have all been thinking, released the name of the Sexiest Man Alive in 2020. The result was announced on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel live on Tuesday and went to none other than..Michael B Jordan.
The Black Panther star joked about how people told him that he wouldn’t get it but is proud to be part of the club, He said;
"It's a cool feeling."
"You know, everybody always made that joke, like, ‘Mike, this is the one thing you’re probably not going to get.' But it’s a good club to be a part of."
He wasn’t the only winner, the reader’s choice award identified men in various other categories including sexiest content in quarantine, sexiest newly single guy, sexiest guy who entertained us in lockdown and competition was tough.
When it came to sexiest new dad, Joe Jonas, Zayn Malik, Ed Sheeran, Joshua Jackson and Artem Chigvintsev fought it out. While most would have thought Zayn Malik would have won this one, the award actually went to Joe Jonas who welcomed his daughter Willa Jonas on 22 July 2020. Zayn and Gigi welcomed their baby girl on 19 September 2020.
People Magazine wrote;
"All these guys (Ed Sheeran, Artem Chigvintsev, Zayn Malik and Joshua Jackson) got a fatherhood glow-up this year, but Joe Jonas has the dad bod PEOPLE readers most admire."
Other winners were Jensen Ackles as sexiest small-screen star, Shawn Mendes who got voted steamiest social media contentover Jason Derulo, Jake Gyllenhaal, Justin Bieber and Tyler Cameron. Ryan Reynolds got sexiest happily settled and Offset as sexiest newly-single guy who was single when the votes were conducted but is back with Cardi B.
