Being the child of billionaire Elon Musk and Grimes would definitely make him or her unique. So when a video of 10 month old X Ae A-12 was shared where he was playing a synth some were surprised while others wouldn’t have expected anything less.
For Grimes’ birthday, the artist shares a series of pictures on her Instagram showing that X Ae A-12 has taken after his mother when it comes to his musical talents.
“Lil X made a loop on my keyboard?” Grimes wrote alongside a video of the baby.
She goes on to add,
"Prob an accident but TBH he played a super fire set just now."
For those that are wondering what a synthesizer is and how its different from a keyboard let us make it clearer. Not only is a synthesizer usually more expensive, it also is more suitable for musicians who want to create their own sounds or adjust existing samples in a lot of detail. In comparison a keyboard is more suitable for those with a large number of sounds and samples and automated accompaniments in many styles.
Clearly if you are the son of Elon Musk and Grimes, an ordinary equipment will not do. Maybe X Ae A-12 is a musician in the making and will take after his mom, or maybe he will be more like his father and cryptocurrencies and futuristic vehicles will be more his thing.
