A couple of days ago we reported that Jessica Alba revealed she wasn’t allowed to look the cast of 90210 in their eyes.
“I couldn’t even make eye contact with any of the castmembers, which was really strange when you’re, like, trying to do a scene with them.” Jessica explained.
“It was like, ‘You’re not allowed to make eye contact with any one of the cast members or you’ll be thrown off the set,” she said.
Now, Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth have responded and neither spelling, 47 and Garth 48 were pleased.
Reacting to the news in a trailer for Tori's podcast 90210MG, Jennie said:
‘Tori, did you, I just need to know, did you tell her not to look me in the eye?’
Tori then replied:
‘Why is it all about you?’
Jennie recalled being the one who had probably the most scenes with Jessica’s character Leanne. Jennie said:
'I had all the scenes with her. If anybody didn’t want to have their eyes looked into, it would’ve been me, but I don’t remember ‘cause I have the world’s worst memory'
Tori wondered if the producers had passed around a memo telling guest stars to not look them in the eye without giving notice to the cast.
She explained:
'Imagine we just thought guest stars didn’t like us? ‘They never looked at us! We don’t know why. We were so nice.'
Jennie was actually really complimentary of Jessica saying:
'From the vague memories I have of working with her, I only remember her being super talented. She was very young, and she was really sweet.'
Spelling was also complimentary of her success and particularly of her successful Honest Company. The Stori Telling author said:
'I was a little horrified when I saw that clip … because her baby wipes are my favorite. … Like, I wipe my child's a** with her baby wipes every single day. I’m so upset right now.'
Clearly Jessica, Tori and Jennie have a different recollection of what happened but nice to see the women come together, even if Tori and Jennie hadn’t been nice back then they are clearly much nicer now.
