Everyone loves Gaga and why not? She is talented, gifted and her songs are always extravagant and out there that people can’t help but take note of her. Yet there is one thing that she does like to keep a mystery and that is the man she is seeing. Despite being in a relationship for two years not much is known to many about her boyfriend, Michael Polansky. So we thought we should tell all.
Michael is smart. Not only is he a Harvard grad, he is also a tech entrepreneur from the Silicon Valley and he is multi talented. Of course we wouldn’t expect anything less. Intelligence is attractive and of course Gaga would opt for an intelligent man.
According to his LinkedIn, he is on several boards in multiple tech and service companies including groups like Founders’ Fund, Brigade, Wishbone, and ArsenalBio. Most recently, he’s prioritized his work with the Parker Foundation, where he undertakes the duties of both the co-founder and the executive director.
Michael manages both organizations with Facebook co-founder Sean Parker, so he is no small fish. He graduated in 2006 from Harvard with a degree in applied mathematics and computer sciences and its nice to see him using all he learnt for the greater good since he is also the co-founder of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, whose mission is to “accelerate the development of breakthrough immune therapies to turn all cancers into curable diseases.”
So how did Gaga and Michael meet, well it would seem according to Page Six the story goes that Lady Gaga used to frequently visit Sean Parker when he threw parties at his LA mansion. She actually performed at one of his cancer benefit concerts. Gaga and Michael apparently became acquainted with each other during Parker’s birthday celebrations in December 2019.
The two were spotted kissing at a Miami hotel in February 2020 and she officially confirmed their romance by posting an affectionate photo with her beau, captioning it as “We had so much fun in Miami. Love to all my little monsters and fans, you’re the best.”
She has of course shared many photos of the two but has chosen not to say too much about the dynamics of the relationship.
What we do however know is that she is big when it comes to giving back as is he. During COVID lockdown in an interview, Gaga revealed how the two had been helping people struggling with mental health and Michael had been instrumental in spreading word.
“With Born This Way Foundation, my mother, Cynthia Germanotta, and our cofounder Maya [Enista Smith], who I love so very much — they are working with my, the love of my life, on something for mental health,” she said.
According to sources she is pretty besotted about him, speaking to E! News an insider claimed,
“They’ve been seeing each other since before the holidays and she’s crazy about him.” The same source added that the pair have been inseparable and that “she’s taking him everywhere.”
So sweet. Even Michael’s ex-girlfriend Lindsay Crouse wrote an essay in the New York Times in early 2020 about this unexpected relationship when she found out but it was all positive and complementary highlighting Gaga’s life as “living the ambitious life that we keep saying women should embrace”
Though Polansky and Gaga have not mentioned anything about marrying each other Gaga has always said she wanted to settle down. In an Instyle Interview she said;
"Marriage. More music, more movies, more charity with the Born This Way Foundation […] I will say I am very excited to have kids. I look forward to being a mom. Isn’t it incredible what we can do? We can hold a human inside and grow it."
In the same interview she said that she had a “lot of dreams and hopes,” and though she doesn’t know whether they will come true she knows that “I’ll be doing it with the people I love.”
Among the hopes and dreams include her desire to be more involved with philanthropy, with a particular interest in funding research about “fibromyalgia and neuropathic and chronic pain.”
It is safe to say, she and Michael have gotten off to a great start with their philanthropic projects and their passion for charity has brought them closer together. Self love remains at the heart of Gaga but seems like she has finally found the right man to have beside her and there will no doubt be much more coming from them. We have to say, though it is somewhat unexpected the two seem to be more right for each other than at first meets the eye.
