Selling Sunset's Heather Rae Young upgrades her 8 carat engagement ring

Beautiful Heather Rae Young may not have got the ring she dreamed of the first time around but she made sure she made it into the ring she has always dreamed of.

The selling sunset star’s finace Tarek El Moussa proposed to her in July 2020 with an impressive 8 carat ring and now 33 year old Heather has an even more impressive ring after the couple upgraded it by changing the band.

Heather shared the ring on her Instagram Stories on Thursday including a close-up of the ring. In it she is seen wearing the ring with additional smaller diamonds. The original emerald cut diamond remains part of the ring but the simple gold band is replaced with thicker smaller diamonds around the finger.

'I never planned my "dream wedding" but I saved rings I loved for the past 10 years,' Heather captioned her clip.

'Gold with Emerald cut was always my dream ring. My love, future hubby, you have my whole heart,' she continued, adding that the ring was 'Breathtaking.'

She claims that she had designed the ring with her finace in an earlier video with help from Newport Beach jeweller Benny and Germs who was involved in both the original design and the upgraded one.

Tarek had proposed to Heather last year in Catalina Island, California in a romantic proposal which melted the heart of many. Tarek surprised Heather with a beach path lined with flower petals and flickering candles and, of course, that incredible ring. However are still pretty excited about the engagement so held a photoshoot on Thursday to celebrate the engagement.

In a picture posted on Instagram she wrote;

The two are first thought to have gotten together on 4thJuly 2019, after Tarek split with his ex-wife and co-star Christina Anstead, 37, with whom he shares 10-year-old daughter Taylor and five-year-old son Brayden.

Nice to see the two of them happy in love and heather getting the ring of her dreams. If at first you don’t get the ring you want try and try again is the lesson learnt, surely.
