Some stories are bizarre even for us and this one left us reacting in the same way as Love Island's Megan Barton-Hanson in other words;
"It's not often I'm left speechless but.. sorry?!" said Megan, as she shared a screenshot of her message from Keeping Up with the Kardashians star 37 year old Scott Disick.
It would appear that Scott demanded an apology from Love Island star Megan Barton-Hanson, 24, for how she treated her ex-boyfriend and co-star Eyal Booker.
The message exchange
In a direct message to Megan, Scott said;
“Hey I recently saw your program Love Island. I had a few questions for you about it. Let me know when you're around to speak about it.
To which Megan replied;
“Hey you..what do you wanna know?”
His response was;
“I was recently introduced to a beautiful man, named Eyal. When I went to see what he’s done on TV, I was astonished by your behaviour.
To find you mugging him off, and taking full advantage of his unbelievably beautiful sense of humor, and vulnerability. I’m extremely disturbed that anybody could be so disrespectful to somebody for no good reason.
Would like to know if you'd be willing to write him an apology. The fact that you told him he wasn’t funny – when in fact you are not Jim Carey is absurd."
Megan Barton-Hanson shared a screenshot of the messages from Scott as she wrote;
"It's not often I'm left speechless but.. sorry?! What have I just read? Genuinely a little concerned about Scott though."
Why is Scott getting involved?
The question is why is Scott getting involved in all this anyway and what is his connection with Eyal?
37 year old Scott is dating 19 year old model Amelia Hamlin who is also the daughter of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hill star Lisa Rinna. Her older sister, 22 year old Delilah is dating Eyal.
Should Scott be concerned about his own behaviour?
While Scott may feel the need to lecture Megan, some have expressed concerns about his own relationship with a 19 year old. According to the Sun mother Lisa has not yet addressed her teen daughter dating the father of three but has cause for concern.
According to a Daily Mail article published on 21 November 2020, a source told the publication, The Sun;
"Lisa isn’t going to acknowledge this publicly for now because she’s still trying to wrap her head around it and thinks this is a phase.
But when she does speak about it she’ll keep her cool but really, she’s worried... That’s her youngest kid.
She really does like Scott but both her and Harry don’t want someone that age with so much baggage to be with their baby girl, especially given Amelia’s own mental health issues."
Amelia and Scott were first spotted together at Kendall Jenner's Halloween-themed birthday party on October 31 just two months after his split from his ex-Sofia Richie.
Concluding thoughts
Maybe Megan is right and we should be worried about Scott or maybe he is being protective of his girlfriend’s sister and how she feels about how her boyfriend was treated. Whatever it is, it’s certainly a strange message.
