Queen forgoes requirement to wear navy uniform at Philip's funeral to help Harry and Andrew

There was a growing Concern Over Prince Harry's Outfit at Prince Philip's Funeral online and in tabloids, in fact it was also speculated that Prince Harry could be the only person present in the funeral not wearing military uniform.

But the Queen has stepped in and gave a major goal to everyone who is trying to unify the royal family, earlier it was Meghan who was ready to forgive the royals and then Kate who was trying to play the mediator between two brothers Harry and William.

According to reports, The Queen has told her family to forgo wearing military uniforms to save her son Prince Andrew and grandson Prince Harry ’s blushes at the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral.

Harry faced being the only member of the family to be wearing a suit after he was stripped of his honorary ranks when he quit his role as a senior royal.

It was reported there was also “serious Navy displeasure” at being dragged into a row over Prince Andrew possibly wearing an admiral’s uniform.

He was forced to step back from all royal roles following his disastrous appearance on BBC Newsnight in November 2019 exposing his relationship with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In his column in mail Piers Morgan slamed Prince Andrew for 'using his dad's death to deflect from own shame'

So there are these two men who have kind of polarized an event of mourning leading the queen to take a stance to normalize the situation, that was confirmed by a royal source who said:

“The Queen and the rest of the family want nothing to detract from what is most important, commemorating the Duke’s remarkable life.”

Both Harry and Meghan gave up their His and Her Royal Highness titles after splitting from the Firm and agreed to stop using the term 'royal' in official correspondence.

In February, they were stripped of their honorary titles by the Queen after confirming they won't return as working members of the Royal Family - something which was said to have upset Harry and lead to him speaking freely in the bombshell interview with Meghan on his side that was conducted by Oprah in early march 2021.

So Harry had only two options while attending Prince Phillips funeral either be angry from inside for such differentiation, him being the only one not wearing the regimented attire or feel guilty when the Royal family accommodates him even after major allegations were made in his presence by his wife about senior members of his family.

Guess what, the Queen chose the later.

Now we have to see if Queen's decision really unifies the family or is it just for the world to see as unified for this rare and sad occasion.
