Quavo’s gave away his intimacy “to other women,” says Saweetie after unfollowing him

If you didn’t pick up on something odd about Saweetie and Quavo’s relationship when the two unfollowed each other earlier in the week, then we are here to set the record straight.

27 year old Saweetie and 29 year old Migos superstar Quavo parted ways after 3 years of dating and the breakup was official when Saweetie confirmed it on social media on Friday 19 March.

In a statement on Twitter on Friday, Saweetie claimed that Quavo gave away his intimacy “to other women.”

“I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women,” Saweetie said.

“I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom. Excited for this new chapter of elevation,” she continued.

On March 18, eagled-eyed fans pointed out that the "ICY GRL" rapper had seemingly unfollowed Quavo on Instagram.

The following day, Quavo also seemed to have unfollowed Saweetie, who he had been following on Instagram just one day prior sparking rumors that the two had broken up.

Fans reacted by expressing their surprise and disappointment.

One fan tweeted;

"quavo and saweetie broke up i thought they was the prince charming and cinderella of the rap industry."

Another added;

"Not Quavo and Saweetie broken up!? And Why am I crying?"

A third wrote;

"I can't believe Quavo and Saweetie broke up man. I was rooting for them."

Just last month, the “Tap In singer” told Page Six how she knew their romance was real.

"The moment I realized that Quavo really loved me is when he saved me some of his food," the rapper explained.

"He gave me his last piece of chicken. I wasn't testing him or anything. I'll be coming out of a Zoom meeting or done doing something and he would have saved me some of his food."
