Piers Morgan Slams Meghan Markle For Her 'Downright Lies'

Piers Morgan yet again accuses Meghan Markle of "downright lies" and it happened the moment the camera starts rolling again. He spoke about their feud in a new television interview to be aired this Sunday.

Despite his insistence that he isn't obsessed with Meghan Markle, the former Good Morning Britain star is set to appear on Australian television to talk about his stance on her and the row which saw him step down from his role on the ITV show.

Piers famously left the morning show after refusing to apologise for his comments about Meghan and Prince Harry's interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The comment that put him in soup was that he didn't believe her when she said she had struggled with suicidal thoughts while she was pregnant with baby Archie.

The comment was insensitive and it triggered the woke army of social media and amidst the backlash, he was asked to apologize, but once ghosted by Meghan, the anchor preferred to call it quits.

In a trailer for 60 Minutes, which sees him interviewed by host Karl Stefanovic, Piers took aim at Meghan's comment about her and Harry secretly marrying days before their multi-million pound public wedding.

Of course, her claim was later proven to be inaccurate, with the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby confirming that no official documents were signed.

In his new TV appearance, Piers says: "They were downright lies.

"I don't believe a word she says. That [ceremony] would make the Archbishop of Canterbury a criminal."

The interview is expected to be explosive as host Karl has been one of Piers' biggest critics when it comes to his comments about Meghan.

According to Mirror UK, Piers has now vowed revenge on Meghan and Harry, also taking aim as the "woke" people who are trying to get him cancelled.

He said: "Freedom of speech is actually more important than the Meghan Markle debacle.
