Piers Morgan says it's "heartbreakingly sad" to see the Queen sit by herself at Philip's funeral

As the world waits for Prince Philip’s funeral due to take place on 17 April who sadly passed away on Friday 9th April in Windsor Castle, Piers Morgan gives his thoughts.

The former television presenter took to Twitter and expressed that it was “heartbreakingly sad” to see the queen sitting by herself.

In a Tweet posted on April 15th, he wrote;

“The Queen, who has devoted her life to selfless public service, will be forced to sit all alone during the funeral of her husband of 73 years, due to covid restrictions,” he wrote.
“How heartbreakingly sad.”

Piers has of late faced backlash after storming out of “Good Morning Britain” over comments against Meghan Markle in March 2021 and has continued to publicly make remarks against her while being more on the Royal family’s side in the fight against "Megan v the Royals".

His message is of course nice of him and in keeping with his general fondness of the royal family.
