After the whole Malik Beasley and Larsa Pippen drama which basically involved the 24 year old NBA star leaving his wife for 46 year old Larsa Pippen things have only gotten messier.
Amid his divorce from Montana Yao he is questioning whether Makai Joseph Beasley is in fact their son.
A paternity test was conducted but the results were unknown in the lead up to the court date of 29 March. According to Us Weekly, his attorney has confirmed that the tests were “taken last week”.
While they are waiting for the results the court did agree that Malik Beasley should provide Yao’s son with support equal to $6500 per month. However denied that she should get $5,300 for spousal support although he should pay $20k for her attorney’s fees.
Clearly Malik isn’t happy to provide any support at all if he is raising questions around whether he is the father.
The two were married on March 20th 2020 but Montana Yao filed for divorce on 8thDecember after pictures of him and Larsa were leaked.
Yao claims that he had kicked both her and their son out of their joint home and she was having to live in hotels and Airbnb’s until her parents helped them.
Seems like the judge doesn’t fully believe the story of Montana Yao being abandoned and needing to be looked after by Malik Beasley, otherwise the judge would have accepted the request for spousal support.
It will be interesting to see what the actual outcome of the paternity test will be. Clearly a seed of doubt has been planted somewhere for him to question such a massive thing. Tell us what you think.
