Sometimes you simply cannot decide who to date and which man is better for you. Thankfully Jennifer Coolidge has the answer, pretend to be a twin of course! Surely two of us better than one?
The legally blonde star who is known for her infamous bend and snap trick to get any man you want in the film was on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” last week while promoting her movie promising Young Woman and recalled her trip to Hawaii where she had pretended to be her own twin sister to date two different men,
The actress told Clarkson that she has had “all sorts of crazy experiences” in Hawaii over the years. Sharing one experience she said;
“Quite a few years back, I did come to Hawaii, and when you come and you’re on vacation alone, you can kind of create anything you want.”
“I ended up meeting these two guys that were best friends, and I liked them both, and so I told them that I had an identical twin. And I dated both guys for two weeks.”
While of course at the time this was great, she questions whether she would do something like that now.
“I don’t know if I would have the guts to do that now” she said "but at the time, it really was sort of a great decision”
“Because, you know, when you’re younger, you can just about get away with anything.”
Unfortunately she did not say whether the men ever found out simply that she left Hawaii but she is a very convincing actress so we wouldn’t be surprised if they bought the charade. Either way it’s unlikely we would be able to pull it off as well as Coolidge, not to mention it may not be fair to the men. Tell us what you think. Have you ever tried it and gotten away with it?
