Kate Middleton likes playing the role of the perfect granddaughter-in-law so it’s no surprise that media is reporting that she will take the role of “peacemaker” to help Prince William and Prince Harry put on a “unified” front for the Queen at Prince Philip’s funeral over the weekend, the Daily Telegraph reported on Tuesday.
Ok, not going to lie Prince William is 38 and Prince Harry is 36, it’s questionable whether either of them need a mommy figure keeping an eye on them but good to know she is ready to step in. The publication went as far as claiming that the reason for her playing the mediator was because she is close with both of the boys, hmm wonder if Meghan Markle will agree.
A royal source added;
“They know it is not about them on Saturday – it is about honoring their grandfather’s memory and supporting their grandmother.”
“I would be extremely surprised if that wasn’t front and center of both their minds. They will be keen to spend time together as a family, in the same time zone for once.”
Another source told the publication,
“The entire focus is on the Queen. No exceptions. A family unified.”
We think Prince Harry and Prince William should be able to behave on the day but seems like Kate Middleton will take the credit either way. If they don’t fight its because she played the role of mediator and if they do fight, of course she would step in and will still look good for trying to help. She really is the perfect granddaughter-in-law, the queen is clearly lucky to have her.
