Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s relationship is full of mystery and Kanye’s odd behaviour has also recently started rubbing off on Kim who was covered head to toe in black at the met gala with many likening her to a dementor or grim reaper.
On Wednesday Kanye posted the pictures on his Instagram in what appeared to be a bizarre gesture given he doesn’t actually follow her on Instagram and chose not to add a caption.
Many thought Kanye was actually with her on the day since a man with a similar physique to Kanye accompanied Kim. It later turned out that it was the designer Demna Gvasalia but Kanye still had a hand to play in Kim dressing the way she did since he is the one that introduced Kim and Demna to each other.
“Kanye gave her the courage to push creativity and people’s imagination through art,” an insider told Page Six. “It’s the ultimate confidence.”
Kim’s Balenciaga outfit did confuse many who said it wasn’t in keeping with the theme of the gala which was celebrating America, though she defended it saying “What’s more American than a T-shirt head to toe?!”
The strange choice perhaps makes more sense now people know Kanye’s involvement.
