Even stunts can go wrong and the planned explosion in the upcoming movie “Don’t look Up” featuring Jennifer Lawrence is evidence of that. The actress was left hurt after an explosion for stunt multiple sources reported.
In photos obtained by media outlets, Lawrence who is wearing a red wig is seen on the ground as several bystanders rush to her aid during filming in Brockton, Massachusetts.

A source told Page Six that glass hit her eyes but is doing well.
'An explosion was set up for a stunt in which glass shatters,' a source told Page Six. ‘It was a stunt in which the glass was supposed to shatter — but it injured her.'
The actress was thought to have been filming a riot scene, there were boarded up buildings in background and two actors in NYPD outfits. Due to the explosion, filming on the political / disaster film was halted on Friday, 5 February 2021.
Prior to the explosion, she was thought to have been filming a romantic scene with her co-star Timothee Chalamet in New England.
Don’t Look Up is thought to be political satire coupled with comedy and surrounded by potential meteorite disaster. It stars Leonado DiCaprio as Dr Randal Mindy and Jennifer Lawrence as his assistant named Kate Dibiasky. According to imdb the two are “A pair of astronomers try to warn everyone on Earth that a giant meteorite will destroy the planet in six months.”
Other famous stars include Meryl Streep playing President Janine Orleans, Jonah Hill as her son in the movie and singer Ariana Grande as a character named Riley Bina. Cate Blanchet and Chris Evans are also thought to be acting in the movie.
A release date for Don't Look Up has yet to be announced, though it is expected to be unveiled later this year.
