J Lo and Ben Affleck have been coming on nicely and now it seems his new girlfriend J Lo and ex-wife Jennifer Garner are also becoming good friends.
According to HollywoodLife, their relationship is better than ever.
“[Garner] and [Lopez] have gotten to know each other better and they actually have become close,” an insider told the outlet “They’ve come to an understanding that all that matters at this point is what’s best for the kids. As mothers, this is important to J.Lo that Jen is on board. Jen’s kids really have taken to Ben and his children which is super important to Jen, too.”
Ben and J Lo previously dated in 2002 and got engaged in 2003 but called it quits in 2004. After this Ben started dating Jennifer Garner in 2004, whom he married in 2005 and shares 3 children but the two divorced in 2018. Around 3 years later, in 2021 Ben and J Lo rekindled their romance and have since been pretty loved up.
Things have heated up between them to the point that there is even talk of marriage, with one source claiming;
"Jen does not want to be the one to ask Ben, but she has been hinting at the idea of getting married a lot more as time goes on. Ben knows that she would love to be his wife and he is waiting for the perfect moment. He really wanted the approval of his entire family, which he has now.”
By approval of the family it’s the kids of course although it seems Jennifer Garner would also be ok with it according to sources. Even though he left J Lo for her and then went back to J Lo.
Given the sequence of events anyone would have thought that perhaps the two women wouldn’t get on with each other or as a minimum be polite but keep their distance but that is not the case. It turns out these two actually get on quite well.
