Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber are pretty loved up based on most of the pictures they want us to see of them. Yet there has been a lot of speculation surrounding their relationship, everything from pregnancy rumors to divorce rumors. We bring you all the gossip and rumors surrounding Justin and Hailey’s relationship.
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber
It would seem right from the start of their marriage, rumors were circulating that Justin Bieber was dating his ex Selena Gomez when Hailey and Justin first reconciled.
According to rumors flying around in late 2017, fans thought Selena and Justin may have rekindled their flame and got back together, but then were surprised to discover that he had infact proposed to Hailey Baldwin (now Hailey Bieber) the following summer and married her in the same year on 13 September 2018.
Speaking on Ashley Graham’s Pretty Big Deal podcast on Tuesday, the 23 year old model, Hailey Bieber has finally put that rumor to rest;
She explains;
"People don't know, too, we had been talking for a while before we got back together," Hailey explained. "Contrary to popular belief, he had been single for a while and I had been single and we were kind of just trying to figure life out."
She did admit that the quick engagement caught everyone off guard.
"Everything happened really fast, I think everybody knows that," she said. "Everybody was kind of, like, 'Hey, did you get married?'"
Rumors of being pregnant
And this isn’t the first time Hailey is having to clarify rumors to the media outlets. Earlier this month in November, Hailey Bieber had to clarify another set of rumors making the rounds where Us Weekly thought she may be pregnant.
On Thursday November 5 2020, she slammed the publisher;
"Please stop writing false stories from your 'sources' and focus on what's important aka the election."
The publisher who wrote the false story was confused when Hailey recently revealed she's excited to have kids, particularly a daughter that she can pass her cashmere sweaters down to.
She joked that she's saving her Bottega Veneta sweater for her daughter because "it's never going to go out of style."
Rumors of divorce
What is somewhat amusing was that this news came after divorce rumors were flying around in July 2020 with several media outlets reporting it was on the cards for Hailey and Justin Bieber.
According to ET, this is was following a Vogue interview a few months after their courthouse wedding where Baldwin admitted that “it’s really effing hard” when asked about her 6-month-old marriage with Bieber.
The magazine reports;
“Many of the couple’s critics, then, assumed that the singer’s mental health state is the culprit. Baldwin’s admission about their marriage on an early stage is a hint that the couple is on the rocks, considering they both rushed the decision of getting married at a young age.”
In Ashley Graham’s Pretty Big Deal podcast on Tuesday, 17 November 2020 Hailey did address that getting married at a young age (21) was scary and she always thought it would happen much later when Justin is 30 and the two had their lives figured out.
She says;
“Although I felt like I had lived a lot of life and I always knew I wanted to be married young, I always had this idea in my mind like if Justin and I ever end up back together, we’re gonna be like way later in life. He’s gonna be like 30 and have figured it out and if not, we’re never gonna be together.”
She does get jealous but expects Justin to behave
That brings us to another set rumors that she may be jealous of other girls being around Justin but expects him to behave. When asked how she feels about jealousy, Hailey responded with;
“I think for me personally, jealousy is a normal, natural thing.”
“If I could take jealousy out of my body then I would”.
“I would say that for somebody in his position there’s always going to be people that don’t care he is married.”
“I’m like it’s just up to you to not let anybody think that they can get that far”
Conclusion
Sounds like Hailey and Justin have been the subject of many rumors this year, getting married young is clearly not something people are used to seeing. While she has been setting the record straight when needed it isn’t uncommon for celebs to deny the real reasons just to play the media.
