Everyone is talking about almost perfect Trey Tucker from 'What Lies Below'

Trey Tucker from the Netflix hit ‘What Lies Below’ is what everyone is talking about and fans want to know more so we thought we should bring you some interesting things about him.

For those that don’t know what the film is about, it was first released on VOD in December 2020 but added to Netflix on April 3 and became a hit. It centers around 16 year old socially awkward Liberty who comes back after 2 months at a camp. When she comes back she meets her mother’s fiancé Tucker who is too perfect to be human.

We don’t really want to ruin it for those wanting to watch the real thing but it does turn out by the end that he is not human after all and a water based specifies who needs water to survive. His specifies are preying on women to preserve their kind and in doing so he traps Liberty’s mother Michelle, impregnates her and locks her in a basement. Libby then tries to save her mother and ends up trapped herself. Ok, we won’t tell you how it ends.

Such a gripping tale does need a talented actor like Trey Tucker who is surprisingly just as perfect in real life. Here is all you need to know about him.

He is actually not a fan of social media. In his Instagram bio he says he hates doing this but is told its important for work.

“I hate doing this, but I’m told it’s important for work.” He writes. Though he doesn’t like posting on the app, he does keep his page active.

He is 6 ft 3 and of course a model. Playing an almost perfect role probably means having a perfect physique too so modelling is surely a given, but that is not all. For all the animal lovers out there, he actually likes dogs and has many photos with his dog, though the last post was over 2 years ago and he likes kids too and is a proud uncle.

His favourite scene in What Lies Below is the one that has made many ladies swoon. In an interview with AMFM Magazine Trey says the moment he will always remember was;

“Coming out of the water almost naked in 39 degree water. That was fun. That was terrific. I wish I could do that all of the time. But overall, everybody showed up to work and really wanted to make a good movie, but it was quite playful and quite fun.
Even when you’re coming out of the water and it’s 39 degrees and you have to do that over and over again for an hour and a half, it still would end up being fun because I’m playfully yelling at the director that now he owes me two bottles of Scotch. ‘
Hey Trey, can we do one more?’ Alright, that’s three bottles of Scotch. It was very easy to keep it lighthearted, so it was fun in that way.”

It goes without saying that he makes a wonderful water based species but in the same interview he revealed that one day he would like to play superman. We can see that in him.

But he isn’t just all looks, it would seem he is smart too and is a coder. Though he hasn’t posted on his Twitter account since 2014, he mentions in the profile’s bio that he is a “coder.” In a tweet on October 25, 2012, he asked, “Anyone have a recommendation on great code snippet apps?”

Seems like he really does have it all. Looks, brains, great with kids, loves dogs, really can’t fault him so far. Tell us what you think?
