Drake dropped three new songs Friday Morning as part his “Scary Hours 2” releases but the lyrics are making many wonder if his new music has anything to do with his beef with Kanye West.
His songs called “What’s Next”, “Lemon Pepper freestyle” and “Wants and Needs” come as a sequel to his first Scary Hours Album which was released in 2018.
The lyrics, innuendos and double entendres are particularly notable with many with an ear for shade suspecting Drake has used them to confirm hooking up with Kanye’s estranged wife Kim Kardashian.
“Yeah, I probably go link to Yeezy I need me some Jesus / But as soon as I start confessin’ my sins, he wouldn’t believe us,” Drake raps on song “Wants and Needs.”
Many took to twitter to express their views, one wrote;
“Did Drake basically confess to hittn Kim on wants and needs??”
Another added;
“Drake basically admit he smashed Kim and told kanye.”
This isn’t the first time 34 year old drake has used his songs to express his feelings for the 40 year old Keeping Up with the Kardashian star, Kim. In a 2018 track, “In My feelings” he alluded to sharing a romance with her.
Following its release Kanye confronted Drake, along with Nick Cannon and Tyson using a series of videos in 2018 asking them to not talk about his wife, Kim Kardashian.
Kanye has not yet commented on the latest lyrics, so will be interesting to say what comes of this.
The latest album features rappers Rick Ross and Lil Baby. A music video for one of the songs “What’s Next” is available but fans are still waiting for the visuals for “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” and “Wants and Needs”.
It will be interesting to see if the song Wants and Needs which makes reference to the lyrics will have a Kim look-alike. Tell us what you think?
