Seems like Max Ehrich and Demi Lovato are expressing themselves through their music. Earlier Demi dropped her single “Still Have Me” in her early morning tweet on 30 September. Now Max Ehrich has released a single called “Afraid” where he talks about how he is afraid to love again after his break-up with demi.
The music video sees the 29-year-old actor playing the piano in front a green screen as the earth, sea, desert, city life and more engulf him.
The broken hearted musician sings;
"I'm afraid to love you, love you/ Afraid to give in my all," Ehrich sings in the chorus.
"I'm afraid to love you, love you / Love you with my whole heart."
On one of the verses, he elaborates with;
"Don't want to disappoint you / No, I don't want to lose you, no, no, no / You make me feel so good inside / I've been broken so many times / I'm just trying to stay alive / I'm afraid, I'm afraid."
The song was released early on Friday Oct 16 on social media.
"From the bottom of my hopeful romantic heart," he wrote on Instagram, "infinitely grateful to be releasing the first song off of my music project."
Many are wondering whether it was the breakup that inspired the song, however it is said that he told Billboard;
"I recorded this song as I was falling in love. It speaks of all the emotions that I was going through at that time."
It seems Max and Demi have also taken different approaches to breakup. According to Cosmopolitan “while Demi has been entirely private about the end of her engagement, whereas Max has been spending his time crying on the beach in front of paps, and apparently calling Demi's friends and family—causing her to lawyer up.”
Another source recently told E! News that;
"she is having all sorts of issues with Max not leaving her alone" and that "He has been trying to get in contact with her family and friends and they have all blocked him. She's in contact with lawyers now on what to do."
