Lies always catches up to you and Dakota Johnson’s lie about limes has caught up to her. In an Architectural Digest house tour in 2020 which went viral in March last year, Dakato Johnson told people how much she loved limes.
On Tuesday she revealed to Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show that she had actually lied about liking limes and actually was allergic to the fruit.
"I actually didn't know that they were in there," Johnson said when asked about the fruits.
"I was giving the tour and went into the kitchen and... it was set dressing," the 31-year-old actress continued. I'm actually allergic to limes. I'm mildly allergic to limes and honeydew melon."
She claims limes and honeydew melon makes her tongue itch.
In the video while showed off her kitchen, which was in her favorite color: green, she claimed she enjoyed cooking and baking, she put her hand over a bowl of limes and said,
"I love limes, I love them. They're great. I love them so much and I like to present them like this in my house."
When Fallon mentioned that Johnson "went with the flow" during the house tour and kept talking about the fruit, Johnson explained that she did that because "it was hard to just ignore them, so I just lied."
Fans responded on Twitter expressing their disappointment calling her the queen of chaos.

Some fans felt that being lied to meant they couldn't trust Dakota Johnson.

I guess no one likes to be lied to, as if it wasn’t bad enough that many feel disappointed by J Lo and her potential lies about botox, now it seems we cant even trust Dakota johnson and which fruits she likes to eat.
