Britney Spear’s wardrobe has been under scrutiny recently after she was seen with similar outfits on her Instagram leading to questions around “why someone like her lacks an expansive wardrobe, instead mostly wearing peasant blouses which show off her stomach and tiny cargo cut-off shorts.” according to Perez Hilton.
In response to this, Britney Spears did something completely unexpected revealing a wardrobe no one would have thought she had. On Monday she posted a picture of her wearing glasses, checked shirt and rolled up jeans with the caption “Instagram versus reality”.

She added, I wanted to show you what I really look like on a daily basis.
"I can get insecure when photos are taken of me that I'm not prepared for… so I have always put so much effort into my appearance."
She continued by saying that;
"sometimes it's nice to not try so hard and pull down your walls every now and then… It takes a lot of strength to do that."
She also revealed that instead of cheerleading she played basket ball at school, a fun fact about her.
She said she was point guard and "called the shots", but added:
"Dear God we sucked… we only won 3 games each season."
Despite Britney’s comments about this being her “reality,” it didn’t stop a slew of comments from rolling in related to the #FreeBritney movement, which her former financial conservator Andrew Wallet recently shared;
“Britney is in a conservatorship for good reason but a lot of the Free Britney people have no experience with the law.....I absolutely still believe that the conservatorship is in her best interests. This movement on social media has definitely complicated matters.”
Both Wallet and her father have shown frustration over the free Britney movement which aims to free Britney from her father controlling her estate, but the real news came when Wallet wrote;
“There are people lurking in the shadows pushing an agenda. I can’t say who but it is hurting Britney, she’s the only one who gets hurt by all this. I have my own theories and things are going to come out during discovery and the trial [to determine who gets appointed]. There is a lot of criticism that is completely wrong.”
No one knows exactly what he means by that but sounds very interesting.
Andrew Wallet was a co-conservator of Britney’s estate between 2008-2009 but voluntarily resigned. Her father, Jamie is now trying to bring him back against Britney’s wishes. While Andrew hasn’t said why he resigned, questions around whether corruption was involved has been raised. Andrew has responded with;
“People say something dastardly must have happened, there was even crazy speculation that I had stolen money. None of it is true and what they don’t realize is how much everybody is scrutinized by the court. There was no corruption, it’s all wild speculation but you’ve just got to shake your head and deal with it.”
It is reported that Britney Spears hasn’t actually been asking to be released from conservatorship but just a more objective third party than her father and his choice of who he wants as her co-conservator.
