Our much loved singer Britney Spears has finally responded to criticism of her dance moves and she makes no apologies for them not being perfect.
On Monday, 1 Feb the Toxic singer took to Instagram to respond to criticism of her energetic dance moves she had shared during lockdown, telling fans her posts are meant to be fun and not intended to be perfect.
'I'm trying to learn how to use technology in this technology driven generation .... but to be totally honest with you I can't stand it !!!' she began in the caption of a photo showing her in a frilly white crop top.
'So ... if my posts aren't perfect ... I'm doing this for fun !!!! If you think I should look like I'm on a magazine cover when I dance .... sorry ain't happening!!!!
Spears most recently shared videos of herself dancing to J Balvin’s “Mi Gente” and Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake’s “Holy Grail”.
Her most recent video was shared on Thursday which resulted in many commenting on her dance moves.
One person wrote;
Does anyone else feel awkward or uncomfortable watching this?'
'What is the point of these videos of her dancing like she's slept for days and just woke up?' another fan shared.
'They scare me because obviously Brittany is going through something.'
Fans have been concerned about her state of mental health for quite some time. Many have commented around her time alone in her house. Other posts have been;
'Can someone finally take Britney out of that house ? She is going nuts...she lives in that house like [a] prisoner.'
'Nobody knows what’s going on with her, but I think she genuinely loves dancing.'
'She is so lost.'
Clearly Britney hasn’t had it easy of late and it is great to see so many fans supporting her and the freebritney movement. However it is equally great to finally see Britney stand up to her trolls and speak her mind. Tell us what you think?
