On Saturday 21 year old Brooklyn Beckham announced he is engaged to Nicola Peltz, 25. He announced the engagement by posting a picture with his fiancé who was wearing a ring thought to be worth £335k according to Express.
He wrote on Instagram on Saturday; “Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you baby xx.”
Nicole Peltz is from Westchester County, New York and is the daughter of billionaire, Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner. She comes from a rather large family with 6 brothers and one sister which include professional Hockey player Brad Peltz and actor Will Peltz.
She has held several roles but is most well known for A&E’s drama-thriller series Bates Motel and Tessa Yeager in the fourth Transformers film Transformers: Age of Extinction.
According to Wikipedia, in 2011 she was nominated for a Golder Raspberry Award as the worst supporting actress for the film the Airbender but has gone on to win CinemaCon rising star award in 2014 for her role in the Transformers movie.
Peltz has also dated Gigi Hadid’s brother Anwar Hadid according to Elle, although the two do not appear to follow each other,
It is reported the actress is worth £40 million while Brooklyn is thought to be worth around £8 million, although the couple are allegedly expected to sign pre-nuptial agreements.
The wedding will take place in both UK and Florida and is thought to cost £4 million paid for by her billionaire father, Nelson Peltz according to Daily Mail, although the Beckhams have indicated that they would like to contribute towards it.
Brooklyn and Nicola spent part of the global pandemic quarantining together in New York. Victoria and David Beckham are both pleased with the announcement for the happy couple.
