Ever thought about the Queen eating a burger? Would she have ketchup all over her? What kind of burger would she pick, a chicken burger? Which takeout?
A former chef, Darren McGrady who worked at Buckingham Palace between 1982 and 1993 recently gave an interview and revealed some of her eating habits.
Surprisingly the 94 year old does enjoy eating burgers, but she is the Queen so of course the way she eats her burgers would be nothing like the rest of us.
Which takeout place does she use?
She wouldn’t dream of actually getting a takeout from the local takeout place, so whenever she has a craving for a burger the Royal kitchen would make something which she would eat bunless and with a knife and fork.
Does she ever eat anything without a knife and fork?
Apparently she does, but it's not a burger. He states;
“Her Majesty’s Victorian upbringing dictates that the only thing you would pick up and eat with your fingers is afternoon tea,” he said to Insider.
What about the type of meat?
Turns out her favourite type is deer which the royal family would often bring home from their hunting trip which the chef would whip into burgers.
